PERBAT is a family firm founded in 1978 through the marriage of Mr. Diego Pérez and Miss Anna María Batallé. These two maintain control of all the shares, and in this way can continue as a private and independent company.

PERBAT started up as a manufacturer of textiles for male dressmaking, normally known as articles of drapery. In order to enter into the male fashion market as a complement to this, the company PERMODA, SA was founded in 1986, and was dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of outfitting.

The two companies follow parallel lines, and as well as sharing management teams, they also share the machinery and installations at Calle Narcís Monturiol 43-45, on the corner of calle Gerona., in an industrial zone located whithin the city of Sabadell, with fast and easy acces by road.

n 1994 began expanding into the international market, and this currently represents over 25% of the two companies sales.

In 1995, driven by a desire to improve, we invested in computer equipment and programs for textile design (the Penelope system), this improving our lines of design, and, as a consequence, our production.

A machinery renovation process was initiated in 1998 and the most modern looms currently existing were acquired. This affords us an excellent standing when it comes to quality, design and production capacity.

In year 2000, PERMODA creates a new division, PERWOMAN, with the purpose of manufacturing fabric for women clothes.
